If you have a 'fussy eater' or a dog that does not seem to enjoy their food, then there is normally a good reason behind it.

Believe it or not, but dogs do not 'taste' food - they smell it! A dog's taste buds are actually not as good as a humans, but their sense of smell is 10,000 times better than ours! Dogs are attracted to the smells of proteins (meat) and lipids (fat). If a food is high in either of these or is coated in fat, then dogs normally will prefer it.

A lot of dog foods on the market are currently bulked with carbs - grains, wheats, oats, potatoes etc with a lot of these foods coming in at over 50% carbohydrate content. Carbs = energy. If you are feeding a high energy food, expect a high energy dog!

This food has been specially formulated to be low carb and high in protein, with a minimum of 65% meat content, providing your dog with exactly what it needs (and wants!) from a good, high quality kibble and also assisting in reducing unwanted behaviours* due to less excess energy.
